Vévé. In Vodoun ceremonies religious symbols are drawn on the ground either before or during rituals. Like the dances and the music, the symbols are a visual prayer used to invoke lwas, deities in Haitian Vodoun. Created for the Duke African Repertory Ensemble. Musical arrangement by: Richard J.
