Fulbright Revisited

film

2011

Using the Fulbright Program as a case study, we seek to examine the role and success of international exchange programs as a means of fostering international understanding and as a buttress to multilateralism. In the midst of the Cold War, hundreds of thousands of Fulbrighters traveled either to or from the United States. These exchanges of young people and faculty touched the four corners of the globe, enlivening the pursuit of academic knowledge and deepening cultural understanding.
