Congratulations to Beth Gifford, assistant research professor at the Sanford School of Public Policy and director of data initiatives at the Center for Child and Family Policy, who will receive the Duke University Meritorious Service Award from President Vincent E. Price today. She was chosen from a select group of applicants based on her important contributions to the Duke community over the past year. In particular, Gifford was nominated for her outstanding work on behalf of Durham’s young children and of U.S. veterans.
