A Pilot Study to Investigate the Association of Measures of Biological Age with Outcomes after Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery (CABG)

This one-year project will determine whether patients presenting for elective CABG are biologically older than their chronological age. Biological age will be assessed using DNA-methylation based epigenetic age and clinical biomarker-derived measures. The impact of CABG on measures of biological age after six month follow up will also be determined.
