Families Talking Together: A Family-Based Approach to Promote Sexual Delay and Strengthen the Evidence Base for Sexual Risk Avoidance Education
Project Goal: This randomized controlled trial will evaluate the effectiveness of a novel delivery mechanism for Families Talking Together (FTT), a family-based and effective adolescent prevention intervention designed to promote adolescent sexual and reproductive health. Families randomized to the experimental condition will work with community health workers who will be trained as “life opportunity coaches” to deliver FTT. A digital version of FTT will also be developed for situations in which face-to-face delivery is not possible.
