High-Use Alcohol Venues: Tourism, Sex Work and HIV in the Dominican Republic
Project Goal: The primary aim was to examine factors associated with tourism, alcohol use and HIV-related sexual behaviors in Sosúa, a major international tourist destination in the Dominican Republic affected by high rates of alcohol and drug use, transactional sex, and population mixing between native Dominicans and tourists.
