My research focuses on the intersections of religion and political economy, particularly as they converge around the theoretical and historical developments of notions of value, money, and sovereignty and their formation within the networks of the Atlantic slave trade. With this I have interests in Marxist critiques of capitalism, black studies, modern political philosophy, and critical theory construed more broadly.
