Obstructive sleep apnea is a frequently overlooked, treatable disorder that is common among children. This article discusses 5 important aspects of this disorder that might not be known to the general pediatric practitioner or pediatric neurologist. These aspects are important in screening, properly evaluating, and treating children with obstructive sleep apnea. © 2013 American Academy of Neurology.
