Efficient model-based tonemapping of high dynamic range gigapixel images

We present a technique to address the tonemapping of high dynamic range (HDR) gigapixel images. The proposed method relies on extracting low-dimensional models from lowresolution proxy images, and can be efficiently implemented in a parallel manner. © OSA 2013.
