Pushbroom hyperspectral imaging with a coded aperture

We describe a hyperspectral camera which operates by translating a scene across the entrance of a coded aperture spectrometer. This applies a sequence of unique codes to the image, allowing full reconstruction of the datacube. © 2006 Optical Society of America.
