Coded aperture snapshot spectral imager based on liquid crystal spatial light modulator

We describe the use of a liquid crystal on silicon modulator to jointly code spatial and spectral features for snapshot spectral imaging. We demonstrate compressive measurement of megapixel multispectral image with 5 nm resolution. © OSA 2013.
