Continuous wave terahertz transmission imaging through near-field aperture funnels

We report high throughput, continuous wave terahertz imaging using a near-field funnel aperture with adjustable output diameter. The frequency dependence of the output power and resolution immediately following the aperture are reported, as are the propagation and resolution characteristics as a function of distance from the aperture. © 2011 IEEE.
