The recycling of fly ash to obtain building materials

At this moment the fly ash is deposed into huge dump in entire word. The storage of them produces so many problems (in special environment problems): contaminates lands and water (with heavy metals), so large lands occupy, is blow up by wind (will contaminates the agrarian lands and peoples from near village) and so on. The fly ash and slag result in big quantity from coals burning. In Timisoara, Romania these waste are send to dump to depose. The recycling of fly ash from Power Plant is an actual concern for engineers and government, in special to use them to obtain building materials. This paper presents the experimental research results of the authors regarding the obtaining building materials realised with big quantity of fly ash and classical materials like cement, sand and superplasticiser. © SGEM2013 All Rights Reserved by the International Multidisciplinary Scientific GeoConference SGEM.
