Corrigendum to “Rejection odds and rejection ratios: A proposal for statistical practice in testing hypotheses” (Journal of Mathematical Psychology (2016) 72 (90–103), (S002224961600002X) (10.1016/j.jmp.2015.12.007))
The following list provides a description of the corrections to the publication since the original version was printed. Page 94: In the fifth paragraph the following sentence appears: “For the control group, the mean is 0, while for the treatment group, the mean is 0.21.” It should read: “An effect size of [Formula presented] is equivalent to [Formula presented]. Therefore, the observation mean is 0 for the control group, and 0.43 for the treatment group.” In the sixth paragraph the following sentence appears: “Given an effect size of [Formula presented], however, 280 participants per condition are needed for 80% power.” It should read: “Given an effect size of [Formula presented], however, 85 participants per condition are needed for 80% power when using a two-sided test.” Page 95: Table 2 Power was incorrectly calculated using [Formula presented] instead of [Formula presented]. The corrected table is shown below with updated numbers in red. Table 2
