A comparison of iterative methods for the determination of the interstitial potential distribution with the bidomain model
Conference Paper
One reason the bidomain model has not seen more widespread use in propagation studies is the computational cost required to calculate the interstitial potentials. To augment this limitation, we examined a number of iterative solution schemes to determine interstitial potentials. A number of these methods had computational costs which were less than the computational cost to determine the transmembrane potentials.
