Transverse spin results from PHENIX

The Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider, the first polarized proton proton collider, has opened new opportunities to measure transverse single spin asymmetries in a new kinematic regime where perturbative QCD can be applied. PHENIX is one of the ongoing experiments studying the spin structure of the nucleon at RHIC.
