Detecting mechanically induced displacements in human cell cultures using quantitative phase imaging

© OSA 2015. We present a platform for detecting cellular deformations from mechanical stimuli. Rapid quantitative phase imaging was used to analyze changes in the optical path length of skin cancer cells during mechanical displacement.
