Real-time monitoring of hemodynamic changes in neonatal pig brain with head trauma injury

Di®use optical techniques were used to continuously monitor hemodynamic changes in piglet brains after traumatic head injury. The potential for using all optical methods for long-term monitoring of human trauma patients is thus suggested. © 2005 Optical Society of America.
