Quantitative performance metrics with long wave infrared multiple aperture cameras

We characterize a long wave infrared multiple aperture imaging system by experimentally measuring its Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference and modulation transfer function. These results are compared with a conventional system. © 2008 Optical Society of America.
