Synthesis and photoelectrochemical property of PbS quantum dots modified WO3 nanoflowers

PbS quantum dots modified WO3 nanoflowers were synthesized on conductive glass through a low-temperature hydrothermal process and a dip coating method. The photoelectrochenical properties of the structure were intensively studied. The results indicated that the structures exhibited an excellent photoelectrochemical performance with a maximum photocurrent density of ∼1.8 mA/cm2 and a maximum photoconversion efficiency of ∼1.3% under solar light (AM 1.5, 100 mW/cm2) illumination, highlighting its enormous potential in hydrogen generation. © The Electrochemical Society.
