Corrections to the B11(p, 0)C12 cross section and its implications

We have performed two independent measurements of the B11(p, 0)C12 reaction over the energy range of Ep=5-14 MeV. The two measurements are in good agreement with each other and indicate that the previously accepted results are in error. The new values for the 0 cross section reported here resolve several outstanding conflicts. Their implications are discussed.
