A compensator design technique for control systems with time-varying nonlinear elements

A method is advanced for the design of linear controllers for a class of nonlinear systems. The systems considered in this paper are characterized by the presence of a dominant nonlinearity located in a specified sector. The proposed approach is digital-computer oriented, and design results are presented in parameter planes and parameter space
