Electronic analogue computers are relatively simple devices used to perform mathematical computation automatically. In this paper, an attempt is made to introduce to the readers the use of analogue computers in a simple way. Analogue and digital computers are compared and the specific advantages and applications of the former listed. The theoretical basis for various mathematical operations are discussed and a few illustrative problems worked out. In the end, a few types of function generators and function multipliers are described and their use in solving nonlinear differential equations is illustrated.
