Fabrication of high-resolution micropolarizer arrays

Procedures for creating high-resolution polarization filter arrays using multilayer polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) films are described. Two state polarization filter arrays with 25 μm resolution and three state polarization filter arrays with 48 μm resolution are demonstrated. © 1997 Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers.
