The derivations of gρ2 = 2Fπ2mρ2 by Kawarabayashi and Suzuki (Abstr. 1966A26144) and others are re-examined. When the full content of chiral algebra is exploited, the analysis reduces to an identity rather than a determination of gρ. (15 Refs.).
