Relationship between the dynamics of coronary arteries and coronary atherosclerosis

Using a system developed to track and quantify the in vivo motion of coronary arteries from clinical biplane coronary cineangiograms, the in vivo dynamics of twelve coronary arteries were characterized. The results suggest that certain dynamic parameters of vessel motion may remediate forces important to the development of atherosclerosis.
