Instrument for the Facilitation of Room Temperature Phosphorimetry with Continuous Filter Paper Device

The design of a simple and unique automated phosphorlmetrlc Instrument Is described. The apparatus, which was developed for a new method of analysis based on room temperature phosphorescence of adsorbed organic molecules on filter paper, uses a simple rotating mirror device to perform phosphorlmetrlc time-resolution. The results show that the RTP technique could be easily automated for large scale and fast routine analysis and therefore has a great potential In certain areas of application, such as clinical and environmental chemistry. © 1977, American Chemical Society.
