Preparation of plasma polymers containing ligated transition metal atoms

The focus of the work reported in this paper is to form transition metal containing plasma polymers existing ideally as a single phase. In such preparations the transition metal atoms are complexed by functional groups within a plasma polymer. Electrochemical and catalytic applications are some of the possible uses for such films.
