A novel sensor consists of a fluorescent pH transducer is presented. The fabrication technique required no mechanical manufacturing and executed easily. C.SNAFL-2 is a dual emission pH sensor that fluoresces at different peak wavelengths in its dissociated and undissociated forms. Ratiometric measurement is made with a single excitation source by monitoring two emission wavelength.
