Journal Article

This article describes a course in ″analytic thinking″ in which the mathematics of analysis is given secondary emphasis compared to the concepts of analysis. Although initially the students find these concepts strange, they become absorbed quickly. Enrollment has grown every year from 10 students in 1972 to 88 in 1976.
