Postcystorethropexy problems

Journal Article

Not all cystourethropexies produce the desired outcome. Recurrent urinary incontinence may be due to recurrent anatomic factors, outlet factors, or bladder instability; their occurrence is often due to initial inappropriate procedure selection. Other troublesome complications include postoperative voiding dysfunction, vaginal fistulae, etc. The likely causes for such problems and their management are explored.
