The history of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current (ACC) during the Quaternary is examined by analyzing deep-sea benthonic foraminifera in four sediment cores from the southeast Indian Ocean sector of the Southern Ocean. The data for core E40-18 are presented here and related to the glacial circulation of the ACC.-from Current Antarctic Literature
