Total ankle replacement with subtalar arthrodesis: Management of combined ankle and subtalar arthritis

Many articles have been written about total ankle replacement and subtalar arthrodesis performed independently from each other. To my knowledge, this is the first article written to address the management of combined ankle and subtalar arthritis. As such, this article will examine how to diagnostically separate subtalar arthritis from ankle arthritis and determine when it should be treated.
