Effect of source location and tissue properties on surface potentials in a cylindrical volume conductor model

Surface potentials due to an internal source were determined using a volume conductor model of the spinal cord consisting of two concentric cylinders. Results indicate that information about the source location is projected to the surface, and that the geometry and electrical properties of the volume conductor must be known to reconstruct the source location accurately.
