Effect of point of connection on the surface current profile over transvenous defibrillation electrodes

This study uses a semi-analytic solution to model the role played by the point of connection in Transvenous Defibrillation (TVD) electrodes. Results indicate that the current distribution on the electrode surface is significantly perturbed by this electrode characteristic.
