Printing superparamagnetic colloidal particle arrays on patterned magnetic film

The printing of superparamagnetic colloidal particle arrays on patterned magnetic film was discussed. A thin ferromagnetic film patterned into isolated island is used to direct the assembly of superparamagnetic colloidal particles into two-dimensional arrays. It was found that magnetically driven assembly of colloidal particles has the ability to generate repulsive forces.
