Many of my patients need to decrease their portion sizes in preparation for surgery. Likewise, some of my post weight-loss surgery patients struggle with the tendency to gradually increase portion sizes as the time from surgery lengthens. Are there behavioral strategies that I can suggest to patients that will facilitate their choosing and consuming smaller portions?
