Active biaxial mechanical response of the urinary bladder wall

Conference Paper

The active biaxial mechanical response of the urinary bladder wall was discussed. The contraction of the specimen was found to be evidenced by a decrease in specimen stretch state that occured synchronously with the increase in load. The load increase and stretch decrease due to the contraction induced in bladder wall muscle by Carbachol.
