Metamaterial blazed gratings

We design, fabricate, and test a graded index diffractive structure based on non-resonant I-beam metamaterials. The measured diffraction spectrum is in good agreement with simulation, and suggests a path toward metamaterial based diffractive optics. © OSA/CLEO 2011.
