Raman spectroscopy of bulk tissue is challenging due to sample auto-fluorescence and weak Raman cross-sections of most molecules. We investigate the use of coded-excitation Raman spectroscopy coupled with an iterative algorithm for Raman signal estimation. © 2006 Optical Society of America.
