Compact spectral diversity filters for diffuse source spectroscopy using spherical beam volume holograms

We describe a new class of compact spectral diversity filters implemented using spherical beam volume holograms. Spectral diversity is improved by rotation multiplexing technique. Diffuse source spectroscopy enabled by using Fourier transform architecture is demonstrated. © 2005 Optical Society of America.
