Surface plasmon cavities for solid-state cavity quantum electrodynamics

We propose a cavity based on surface plasmon modes confined by metallic distributed Bragg reflectors and analyze the interaction of the cavity mode with quantum dots (QD). The system exhibits strong Purcell enhancement. ©2007 Optical Society of America.
