Pulmonary artery anomalies such as peripheral pulmonic stenosis or arteriovenous malformations are congenital heart lesions that can result in considerable symptoms and right heart failure. Pulmonary artery interventions can be highly demanding and benefit from considerable pre- and periprocedural imaging and planning. Dialogue between operators, catheterization lab personnel, and the general anesthesia team is essential, and the procedural steps, alternative options, and potential complications should be discussed in advance of the procedure.
