The measurement of the polarized gluon distribution function ΔG / G using current-target correlations in the Breit frame of deep inelastic scattering is proposed. The approach is illustrated using a Monte Carlo simulation of polarized ep-collisions for HERA energies. © 1999 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
