Laboratory courses focused on tissue engineering applications

Two new laboratory courses focused on tissue engineering have been developed and implemented in the undergraduate Bioengineering Department at Rice University. The courses provide students with a fundamental understanding of mathematics and the natural, life, and medical sciences. It also teach students bioengineering principles and their applications in the life and medical sciences. Students also develop unique approaches and protocols due to the open-ended nature of the course assignments.
