Concentric silicon thin film photodiode arrays for endoscopic spatially resolved diffuse reflectance spectroscopy

Screening for precancerous gastrointestinal dysplasia can be performed noninvasively by diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS). The first spatially resolved DRS system using Si photodetectors optimized for endoscopic applications is reported herein.
