Multimodal therapy of prostatic cancer

With the exception of postoperative radiation for the patient who has microscopic residual disease after radical prostatic surgery, there is no evidence to indicate that multimodal therapy has any greater benefit in effecting disease control than single modality therapy in prostatic adenocarcinoma.
