The linguistic diversity of the AE workers of Barcelona centered on Latin-based languages. One of the two-week modules, representing a fifth of the programme as a whole, is 'Intercultural Relations in Europe and AE. This subject provides an excellent mirror for reflection about both the power and solidarity claims made by Cultural Studies and the power and solidarity claims that operate in the processes of knowledge production and teaching/learning of Cultural Studies.
