What if Miracles don't happen?: Empowerment for longsuffering

Theodical concerns are intricately embedded within accounts of divine healing and miracles. The following essay highlights some of these challenges for Pentecostals and charismatics, those who are especially affected by the point. What is needed in contexts such as these is nothing short of a recalibration of sensibilities and expectations regarding the theodical task overall. The work concludes with an amplification of what 'empowered for witness' can mean for Pentecostals facing the challenge of frustrated expectations on these concerns.
