Impact properties of various thermoplastics can be modified by blending these thermoplastics with styrenic block copolymers and polystyrene-poly(ethylene-co-butylene)-polystyrene (SEBS) block copolymers. Some of the thermoplastics discussed include polyphenylene ether, polycarbonates, and polyesters. Also styrenic block copolymers may be used to produce tough blends with nylon.
